The Wharfedale Diamond series speakers are renowned for their exceptional value for money and have won a number of product of the year awards from specialist magazines and websites.
The Diamond 11.2 is a very elegant looking speaker featuring 25mm (1″) Textile dome tweeters and 150mm (6″) woven kevlar bass drivers.
They sound great, full with really good base, they manage to get a lot of bass for the size of the box they’re in, really impressive, perhaps less bright than expected, which in general ends up giving the feeling that they’re less fatiguing speakers.
They are easy to listen to, not harsh, and still have a lot of details.
Overall they’re excellent speakers, I don’t think they’re the kind of speakers that you listen to and go wow, but after a few days you’re hooked on them. They’re very pretty without being too loud in appearance or sound, they win you over slowly, and in that respect they’re hard to beat…
