Onkyo CP 700m

The CP‑700M is a manual direct‑drive turntable produced by Onkyo between 1976 and 1979. Some say it was built for Onkyo by C.E.C., along with the Pioneer PL-71, sharing certain components with the C.E.C. BD-7000.

It features robust construction—heavy, well‑isolated, and durable.

A direct‑drive motor with independently selectable 33/45 rpm speeds, pitch control, and an illuminated stroboscopic speed indicator.

An S‑type tonearm with antiskate and VTA adjustment.

The Onkyo CP‑700M remains a standout classic: a simple and effective direct‑drive turntable that delivers a musical and dynamic soundstage.
